Privacy Policy

LifeTrailer ("we", "us") is operated by M&M Ventures Ltd, Ferndale, Saddle Road, Douglas, Isle of Man. This policy explains what we do — and deliberately don't do — with your information when you use the LifeTrailer app.

Our core principle

LifeTrailer is built privacy-first. Trailers are created on your device, and we only ever use the photos and videos you explicitly select. Your memories are never used to train AI models.

Photos and videos

• We only access the specific photos and videos you choose using the system photo picker. We do not browse or upload your photo library.
• Selected media is processed on your device to create your trailer. Temporary copies are deleted after generation.
• Finished trailers are stored on your device and only saved to your photo library or shared when you choose to.

Account information

Using LifeTrailer does not require an account. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you allow it, your name. This is used only to enable optional features such as restoring purchases. You can use the app fully without signing in.

Purchases

Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. We store only whether your account is entitled to premium features.

Optional cloud processing

Some optional features may generate trailer text (titles and captions) using a cloud service. This is off by default and only runs if you turn on "Allow cloud processing" in Settings. When enabled, we send only non-personal text metadata about your trailer (such as the chosen story type, style and the number of clips). We never send your photos or videos to the cloud.

AI training

We do not use your photos, videos, or generated trailers to train AI models.

Analytics

We may collect limited, anonymized product analytics (for example, that a trailer was created) to improve the app. This data is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers. LifeTrailer does not currently use a third-party analytics provider.

Data retention and deletion

• You can delete any project at any time within the app.
• You can delete your account and associated local data from Settings.
• Any data held in cloud services is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. Contact hello@lifetrailer.app.

Children

LifeTrailer is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information (for example under GDPR or CCPA). To exercise them, contact hello@lifetrailer.app.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
